I started drawing before I could walk. Art has always been a major passion in my life and I grew up in a very creative environment. My parents had always encouraged me to pursue an artistic career and wherever I was in life and whatever I was going through, art had always been the main form of expression for me. Art is my therapy. I am also a big fan of old literature and love old films and music. I would say that my style of design is very versatile. I do not stick to certain rules and I like to experiment with different mediums and layouts. I am fond of overlapping images and textures and creating my own illustrations. Painting and drawing is my thing, and I also love doing gauche resists. I have been told by many people that my style has a grungy look to it and from time to time I like to bring out a darker look to my work where I can. I am also very passionate about social work - i love working with animals and am a regular volunteer at the SPCA and Uitsig Animal Shelter. I definitely found healing in animals as well.
